As a result of the lengthy queues of passengers across multiple Dutch airports, the month of July was extremely busy for the Sunflower, here in the Netherlands. Feedback from people that chose to wear the Sunflower lanyard during their trip through the airports was really positive.

At Schiphol Airport, ground staff did a great job of recognising and supporting Sunflower wearers during difficult situations caused by the delays.

Sticking with travel, some travel agents joined the Sunflower Netherlands and Belgium during the month. All customers that have a hidden disability will be provided with a lanyard and card before they embark on their journey. It's really nice to see the Sunflower working so well within the travel industry.

The charities, Zaans Autisme loket and Mama Vita, now support the Sunflower. With their help, the Sunflower should reach many people that would benefit from wearing a lanyard.

During the month, we also welcomed several new theatres and schools. They are currently training their staff and will be operational this month.

Due to the summer holidays some of our current projects are on hold for a few weeks but come October we are expecting some big, new companies to have joined the programme.

This month we've been invited to represent the Sunflower at the congress for poppodia and festivals. We hope that next year, all festivals and concert halls will recognise and support people that choose to wear the Sunflower, as the number of wearers across our region continues to grow.
