It's International Day of People With Disabilities. Today we join together to support and celebrate people living with disability in our communities. This anthology of poetry is a collection of engaging insights into a wide range of hidden disabilities. Entitled 'Hidden Disabilities and Me', the anthology forms part of our mission to raise awareness of hidden disabilities and the impact they have on people’s daily lives.

Our aim is to make the invisible, visible.

We're donating a £1 from each book sold to Alzheimer's Society – the UK’s leading dementia charity who campaign for change, fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia today (Charity No. 296645).

Tim Wilkins, Service User Involvement Officer – West Sussex, Alzheimer’s Society, said: "The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard continues to be worn by a number of people affected by dementia and many others with hidden disabilities in West Sussex. It indicates to staff in some shops, on public transport, in airports etc that the person may require some support. For so many a disability is not visible and the voluntary wearing of a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard can make a difference in a  number of places."
