The Sunflower makes it on TV

At the end of November, the Sunflower featured in Season 13, Episode 9 - "Show Mama from the Grave", of the US TV series Bob's Burgers. The Sunflower wearer is 4 mins 38 seconds into the episode which can be viewed with a subscription to either Hulu.com or Fox.com.

Supervising Director, Simon Chong, of the TV series, Bob's Burgers, posted across social media on 27 November with a still from that night's episode. Simon wrote: "In tonight's Bob's, we designed the lady on the right to wear a Sunflower. The Sunflower is a symbol representing hidden disabilities such as sensory processing difficulties, anxiety and Autism Spectrum Disorder. It might be a small nod, but felt it important to include."

We got in touch with Simon to express our gratitude for including the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower in the show. It turns out a dear friend of his is a Sunflower wearer and brought it to Simon's attention. Simon mentioned he would like Bob's Burgers to include more Sunflower wearers in future episodes and highlight more hidden disabilities. Thanks Simon and Bob's!
