Your space to become a Sunflower Partner

Support those living with a non-visible disability in your region

Globally, 1 in 6 of us live with some form of disability. That’s more than 1 billion people living with a disability in the world. While some experience a disability that is visible, many have a non-visible impairment or condition that makes daily life more demanding. Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean that it is not there.

Our aim is to increase awareness of the Sunflower globally to provide a consistent level of support for those who choose to wear the Sunflower Lanyard, or any Sunflower wearables, so they may travel, work, shop or be entertained safely in the knowledge that understanding, care or simply more time will be given.

So we are making the Sunflower available locally in an increasing number of countries around the world. We believe that we can achieve this through partnering with an organisation or business with regional knowledge that believes that improving support for those living with non-visible disabilities is a critical objective.

Why become a Sunflower partner?

2020 was a pivotal year in the Sunflower story and saw us achieve many key milestones, including becoming a globally-recognised symbol for invisible disabilities and helping organisations expand their equality, diversity and inclusion objectives to include non-visible disabilities.

This exponential growth continued in 2021 with a record number of businesses from every sector joining and recognising the Sunflower Lanyard to support their colleagues and customers - ranging from retail, travel and tourism, universities, schools and colleges, healthcare, central and local government agencies to premiership football teams, theatres and financial institutions. Currently, over 100 airports globally have launched and recognise the Sunflower. We also launched the Sunflower locally in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the US.
